The scope of our activities includes consulting and implementing our clients ideas, beginning with creating a marketing slogan and ending with high-volume multilingual printing. We focus mainly on DTP and translation services. The brand name TRANSLAX has existed in the market of translation services ever since 2005. A number of our employees are highly-specialised professionals with over 20 years of experience in the industry. The company offers a comprehensive service, creating an international corporate image which, apart from translation, involves design and development. Our team of experienced professionals - engineers, translators, graphic designers, editors and DTP specialists, adhering to rigorous quality control procedures, ensure the highest quality of the final product and client satisfaction. Our translation projects are always verified by professional engineers or other industry specialists. Technical support, implemented during the translation and adaptation process, ensures that all necessary changes are made to the content. The form remains then unaffected and, if necessary, may be subjected to localisation in a separate production process.

We implement projects based on our in-house rules, unless our client requires otherwise and provides us with glossaries, style-guides and other guidelines. In the case of comprehensive instructions from the client our work is verified with a specified checklist and four eyes. Our translators, editors, graphic designers and other specialists are skilled professionals.

DTP - Desktop publishing

OCR, text extraction, preparation for translation, post-translation DTP, pre-press and co-operating with a printing house.

Converting non-editable format to MS Word or open formats of DTP programmes. Preparing non-editable files by restoring and rebuilding non-editable files in MS Word. The rendering of open files (INX, INDD, IDML, FM, MIF, SGML, PM, QXP, QXD, etc.). Preparing files for on-line publishing or for print (exposure).

CAT – Computer Assisted Translations software. Increased efficiency by faster translation and terminological consistency.

CAT tools significantly reduce costs. In case of the translation of, for example, an on-line store, every page apart from the product description includes repeated text (footer, menu tree, comments, etc.). Thanks to CAT tools TRANSLAX charge only for unique texts! Note that repetitions on the websites can constitute even 85% of the entire text material.
